Without further ado, we are kicking off with RDA’s Third Birthday!
RDA turned three this November and what better way to celebrate than with Member Appreciation Day! It was a perfect day for members to hang out together, try a different martial arts style and enjoy each other’s company!
We kicked off the day with our Lil Ninjas from both the Hapkido and BJJ programs. Then we had Kids Hapkido and Kids BJJ take the mat. Our adult members were in for a treat with no less than 6 seminars on offer:
We had a great turn out with many new faces! Not forgetting some of our friends from Choson Martial Arts in Yallingup who have made the track up our way to celebrate with us!
We thank our sponsors for making this day possible, please consider visiting them for all your martial arts supply, supplement and allied health needs (Clicking on respective logos will open a new tab to their website):
A special thanks to MMA Fightstore for supplying 3 sets of Badboy 10z Leather boxing gloves (valued at 109.95) as door prizes which were won by:
In our BJJ program, stripes and belts have always been presented in class. However, on November 20th, we held our very first grading as an event for both kids and adults. It was a phenomenal day with many of our members receiving a new stripe or belt. Seeing our members’ hard work, tenacity and dedication pay off…beyond amazing! Congratulations to all attendees! Oss!
November was a busy time with many of our BJJ members and instructors competing this month. Below is a list of all competitors throwing down with opponents from different gyms in WA, congratulations to all competitors, RDA is incredibly honoured and proud to have athletes like you!
We encourage any of our members who are interested in competing to speak with their instructors so that we are aware and can support you through the process.
Implemented a few months ago, each month, instructors recognise students from the Lil Ninjas and Kids programs who embody RDA’s values, including dedication, focus, respect and kindness. Recognised at the end of the month, these students will then be awarded the opportunity to wear the Honorary Black belt during class and are offered other privileges such as lining up with the instructors and/or seniors to bow in and bow out during the succeeding month.
